Contexte et objectifs / Background and objectives

Au printemps 2024 (28 et 29 Mars), La Société Francophone de Transplantation inaugure une nouvelle manifestation scientifique, de calendrier annuel, qui porte l’ambition de réunir des chercheurs et des cliniciens autour de sujets actuels, rapidement évolutifs, pour privilégier les échanges et collaborations. Baptisé « Spring Highlights in Transplantation Sciences (Spring HITS) », ce séminaire est compact, riche, transdisciplinaire et ouvert au-delà des frontières. La participation d’experts internationaux permettra de dynamiser notre réflexion et de créer des liens collaboratifs. Le premier opus s’intéressera aux avancées fulgurantes en Xénotransplantation, mettant en perspective les aspects réglementaires, les questionnements éthiques, les défis immunologiques et microbiologiques. Nous aurons le privilège d’accueillir des pionniers dans le domaine, venant des Etats-Unis, Allemagne, Suisse et France. L’édition 2024 est soutenue par la société européenne de transplantation d’organe (ESOT). Le programme final est disponible 

Next spring (March 28^th and 29^th), the French-speaking Society of Organ Transplantation is launching a new annual meeting, whose ambition is to gather searchers and clinicians around fast-moving and highly topical fields of investigation, in order to foster exchanges and collaborations. Named « Spring Highlights in Transplantation Sciences (Spring HITS) », this seminar will be featuring an intense, transdisciplinary and uplifting program. The participation of international key opinion leaders will stimulate discussion and lay the groundwork for future collaborations. The first opus will be dedicated to the recent giant step forward in Xenotransplantation, highlighting regulatory constraints, ethical questioning, immunological and microbiological challenges. We will be honored to welcome pioneers in the field, coming from the USA, Germany, Switzerland and France. The 2024 Spring HITS will be endorsed by the ESOT. The final program is available here.

• L’évènement se tiendra les 28 et 29 Mars 2024, à la villa Modigliani, située 13 rue Delambre dans le 14^e arrondissement de Paris (https://www.villa-modigliani.fr)

Inscriptions / Registrations

• En raison du nombre limité de places, l’inscription préalable est obligatoire.
• Given a limited number of seats, a preregistration is mandatory.

• L’inscription est gratuite, ainsi que l’hébergement dans la nuit du 28 au 29 pour les non-résidents à Paris (dans la limite des places disponibles).
• The registration is free as well as the overnight stay at the Modigliani villa for those who do not live in Paris area (contingent on rooms availability).

• La préinscription est ouverte et régie selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi. Néanmoins, si le nombre de préinscriptions dépassaient les capacités d’accueil, d’autres critères seraient pris en compte, notamment la représentation de plus grand nombre de centres de transplantation, et l’affiliation à la SFT du postulant (avec cotisation à jour). Les inscriptions définitives seront confirmées et annoncées fin janvier.
• The preregistration is open according to the first-come, first-served principle. However, if the number of preregistrations went beyond the housing capacities, other criteria would be taken into account, including the broadest representation of all transplant centers, and the active SFT membership of the applicant. Final registrations will be confirmed and announced at the end of January.
